Sponsoring Organization & Eligibility

• This raffle ("Raffle") is conducted by the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of Florida and recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

• Participation is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

Ticket Sales Period & Drawing

• Raffle ticket sales open September 19, 2026, and continue until 1:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 5, 2026

• Tickets may be purchased online through the official event website or, if permitted by the donation platform, in person on the day of the event prior to the sales cutoff.

• The drawing will take place at approximately 2:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Ken Thompson Park.

• The winner will be chosen by random drawing from all eligible entries received by the ticket sales cutoff. Winner need not be present to win.

• Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Raffle Prizes

• Grand Prize: Fifty percent (50%) of the gross proceeds from eligible raffle ticket sales

• The remaining fifty percent (50%) of proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc. and the Children's Guardian Fund.

• Additional Prizes (if applicable): May be offered at the Foundation's discretion. If substitutions become necessary, prizes of equal or greater value may be awarded.

• Winners will be notified by phone and/or email within 10 business days of the drawing and must claim prizes within 30 days of notification.

• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash (unless stated for the Grand Prize).

Ticket Price & Free Entry Method

• Tickets are $100 each.  In compliance with Florida Statute § 849.0935, no purchase, donation, or contribution is required to enter or win.

• To enter without purchase, mail your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address to:

• Mailed entries must be postmarked by November 29, 2026, and received by December 3, 2026, to be included in the drawing. Free entries will be treated the same as paid entries and will have the same chance of winning.

• Suggested donations through ticket purchases support the Foundation's charitable work but are not required for entry or to win.

Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner will be selected by random drawing conducted by the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc. or its designee.

• If the winner is not present, notification will be made using the contact information provided at entry.

• If a potential winner cannot be reached within 10 days, is found to be ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 30 days, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

Publicity Release

• By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes by the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., without additional compensation or notice, where permitted by law.

Release of Liability

• Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in this Raffle or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize awarded.

• No warranties, express or implied, are made with respect to any prize.

Taxes and Reporting

• Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any fees associated with prizes. The Foundation will issue IRS Form 1099 to the winner if required by law.​

Compliance & Legal Notice

No staff, members, volunteers, or any other individuals receive compensation for conducting or promoting this raffle.

Donations for raffle entries are not tax-deductible.

The prize winner is chosen at random. This drawing is conducted in compliance with Florida Statute § 849.0935.

All unsold tickets become the property of the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc.

Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of the State of Florida, and the decision of the Foundation shall be final and binding.​​
