The Heart Behind the Lawn Party
The Longboat Key Lawn Party is the club’s signature fundraising event, but its success is truly a community effort. Each year, Kiwanis members and volunteers give their time, talents and energy to bring the celebration to life, from months of planning and preparation to welcoming guests on event day. Their work behind the scenes is what makes an afternoon of great food, friendship and fun possible, while helping the Lawn Party make a meaningful difference for local children.
More Than One Day of Giving
Throughout the year, members of the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key find meaningful ways to serve, support local needs and invest in the next generation. Through hands-on service, youth-focused initiatives and partnerships with schools and community organizations, members turn a shared desire to help into real local impact.
Kiwanis is also about connection. It brings together neighbors, business leaders and community members who believe that giving a little of their time can add up to something much bigger.

The Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 8:30 AM at the Lazy Lobster in the Centre Shops. Come meet our members, learn more about what we do and discover how you can get involved.
