Sponsoring Organization & Eligibility
The Children's Bounty ("Children's Bounty") is conducted by the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of Florida and recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Participation is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
Entry Period & Prize Assignment
A maximum of 100 total entries will be available for the Children's Bounty. Entries will be accepted beginning September 19, 2026, and will close at 1:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 5, 2026, or when all 100 available entries have been distributed, whichever occurs first.
Each eligible entry will be assigned a unique entry number. After entries close, eligible entry numbers will be randomly matched by a computerized random-selection process with the prizes available in the Children's Bounty. The random prize assignment is expected to take place at approximately 2:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Ken Thompson Park. Participants do not need to be present at the event to receive their prize.
Children's Bounty Prizes
The Children's Bounty will feature 100 prizes donated by participating businesses, sponsors, individuals, and community partners. Featured prizes include a diamond ring with a certified value of approximately $7,000, wine and spirits, a golf experience for four, a spa experience for two, and numerous additional prizes.
Each eligible entry will receive at least one prize. If all 100 entries are distributed, each entry number will be randomly matched with one of the 100 available prizes. If fewer than 100 entries are distributed, all advertised prizes will still be awarded. After each eligible entry has been randomly assigned one prize, any remaining prizes will be randomly awarded among the eligible entrants.
Prize descriptions and values are based on information supplied by prize donors and are subject to reasonable changes or substitutions if necessary. Where a substitution is required, the Foundation may substitute a prize of comparable value. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash unless specifically stated otherwise.
Suggested Donations & Free Entry Method
The suggested donation is $100 per entry. Donations support the charitable work of the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc. and the Children's Guardian Fund.
NO PURCHASE, DONATION, OR CONTRIBUTION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR RECEIVE A PRIZE.
To request an entry without making a contribution, mail your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address to Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 8097, Longboat Key, FL 34228.
Mailed entries must be postmarked by November 29, 2026, and received by December 3, 2026. Free entries will be entered into the same pool of available Children's Bounty entries and will be treated the same as entries accompanied by a voluntary contribution. A donation or contribution does not affect which prize an entrant may receive.
Prize Selection & Notification
Prize assignments will be made using a random computerized selection process conducted by the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc. or its designee. Each eligible entry number will be randomly matched to a prize without regard to whether a donation was made.
Participants who are present at the Lawn Party may pick up their prizes at the event after prize assignments have been completed. Participants who are not present will be contacted using the information provided at entry and may arrange to collect their prize through the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, including at a subsequent Kiwanis breakfast meeting or another mutually arranged pickup opportunity. Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information.
Publicity Release
By accepting a prize, the recipient consents to the use of their name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes by the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., without additional compensation or notice, where permitted by law.
Release of Liability
Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, vendors, sponsors, prize donors, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Children's Bounty or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize awarded.
No warranties, express or implied, are made by the Foundation with respect to any prize. Any warranties associated with a donated prize are solely those, if any, provided by the manufacturer, donor, or service provider.
Taxes & Reporting
Recipients are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any fees associated with prizes received. The Foundation will issue any tax documentation required by applicable law.
Compliance & Legal Notice
By participating in the Raffle, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers from liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Raffle or the acceptance, possession, or use of the Grand Prize, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
No warranties, express or implied, are made with respect to the Grand Prize.
Taxes & Reporting
The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs or fees associated with accepting the prize
The Foundation will provide any tax documentation required by applicable law.
Compliance & Legal Notice
No staff, members, volunteers, or other individuals receive compensation for conducting or promoting the Children's Bounty. Contributions made in connection with Children's Bounty entries may not be tax-deductible.
Prize assignments will be determined entirely at random. No winning entry number or prize assignment will be predetermined before the random selection process. The Children's Bounty will not be conditioned upon receiving a minimum amount of contributions or distributing a minimum number of entries. All prizes offered will be awarded.
Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of the State of Florida, and the decision of the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc. shall be final and binding.
Disclosures Required by Florida Law
The sponsor of the Children's Bounty is the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 8097, Longboat Key, FL 34228. The prize assignment will take place at Ken Thompson Park, 1700 Ken Thompson Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34236, on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at approximately 2:15 p.m. ET.
Prizes are donated by participating businesses, sponsors, individuals, and community partners. No purchase, donation, or contribution is necessary to participate, and making a donation does not affect the random assignment of prizes.
